i have set it up using PHP, ive had some help from a guy who understands this kind of stuff, but he explains everything so complicated.
he says its not showing because:

I am working on a website for a group of friends, but the project has become a headache. I need the site to do some pretty swanky things in Drupal, running a number of modules which may require more processing power. They have a hosting service that is meant more for running old text-based telnet games, so the restrictions on it are pretty heavy for what they’re paying. I can’t even enable a module with jQuery in it without the site blowing up in what I can only assume is a memory/processing issue (there’s no cPanel or anything of the sort, so I’m not sure how to even test it). Plus, their configuration does not allow for clean URLs or use of the mail() function, among other things.
I am looking for recommendations on cheap hosting providers which can provide all of these services, with excellent customer service.
I personally used to use x10Hosting, but they’ve been cutting back on their services and recently retroactively REMOVED some of my paid services (and then pretended it was that way before I bought it and they have no idea what I’m talking about).

Hi,
I’ve made a website and i’m using a friend’s web hosting space so i’m not sure what he’s using but it’s through cpanel or something (i don’t really know what i’m talking about). I’m really new to all of this, and so i uploaded the files through filezilla, using the instructions my friend gave me but i keep seeing the "index of /" with a list of the files i uploaded. If anyone wants to check it out plz visit www.vedelindia.com (i’m not advertising this is where the problem is).I want the site to load the "Movie1.html" file at the start which you can see in that index of files, and not to show that index at the beginning. I know i can in ads on other sites put the link to "vedelindia.com/Movie1.html" but i want to know why i’m getting that index in the first place and if there’s any way of gettiing rid of it. If anyone could help i’d appreciate it a LOT.

Is there a way to host this script elsewhere, then use an HTML code to embed it in my template site? This would help me to keep a new service on my current site rather than having to link to another.
